Dyne Rdd Event 2

Several members of the Notre Dame Patient Advocacy community attended Dyne Therapeutics’ annual Rare Disease Day celebration on Saturday, February 11 at the Dyne headquarters in Waltham, MA. During the visit, the team was able to meet with and learn from many members of the Dyne staff. They also had the privilege of learning from patients and their families who spoke about their experiences living with muscle diseases, and the importance of advocacy in their journeys. The team left Waltham feeling inspired by patient stories and the work that Dyne is doing. Two Notre Dame undergraduates from the Minor in Science and Patient Advocacy program were in attendance - Jamie Paik, ND ‘24, and Kim Nguyen, ND ‘25, who will both be interning with Dyne Therapeutics this summer.
