Current Science & Patient Advocacy senior, Jake Weber, has recently been featured on the #RAREis Blog where he elaborated on his experience in the Minor in Science and Patient Advocacy. The #RAREis program is sponsored by Horizon Therapeutics, a founder of the Notre Dame Patient Advocacy Initiative. Jake served as a Patient Advocacy Intern with Horizon over summer break which provided him with the opportunity to "explore programs currently available to patients, identify areas where additional support may be needed, brainstorm new and innovative solutions to fill unmet needs and participate in impactful patient advocacy events."
